MOTHER (Game)

M0THER is a dark but charming puzzle game about a supercomputer guiding packs of stupid creatures through a deadly testing facility.

Inspired by games like Lemmings and Portal, M0THER will have you watchfully guiding adorable little critters by giving them crazy abilities!

Parental Control is a group of 10 students at PlaygroundSquad. They love having fika (often more than once a day) while making videogames, and have a strange affinity for blood.

Max Wants to Live on Sunday (Film)

Unemployed former entrepreneur Max (44) lives in a small town and takes care of his demented father. Max has a crush on his neighbour Sandra (38), with whom he goes to a stone painting among other things. One night Max runs into James, an East Asian-looking man with supernatural powers. Max must do tasks for James, that is, if he wants to be alive on next Sunday. Soon Max realizes that James is just one small piece of a larger whole, and some kind of an apocalypse is threatening the mankind. Eventually Max tries to save his loved ones for certain death, but he can save only one person in addition to him.

Videovåldet (The video violence) (Film)

A satirical depiction of the Swedish TV broadcast that sparked the video violence debate in 1980, until the film itself develops into the kind of horror movie the debaters warn about. The program shocks viewers with examples from the terrible films in question, and being exposed to depictions of violence turns out to be exactly as dangerous as they had feared.

Andreas Mortensen is a Gothenburg-based screenwriter, director, and producer with a degree from YRGO’s screenwriting program, and the owner of the production company Duga Film. Since 2014, he has written and directed 14 short films and music videos, and his latest film, The Face, won, among other awards, Best Short Film at the British Horror Film Festival in London in 2025.

Stockholm Heist (Film)

A stylistic and dystopian independent film in the crime genre. The film will be shot on analog 16mm film, and during the presentation André and Vito Gogola will showcase previously unseen material from their two film tests as well as concept images. They will also talk about their successful Kickstarter campaign for the film’s development.

They will also briefly present their second feature film project, a youth horror film about hypnosis titled “Iris Is Your Friend.”

André & Vito Gogola are two filmmaking brothers from Stockholm who most recently released “115,” a horror short film about dating apps that has won Best Horror awards at festivals in Berlin, New York, and Toronto.
